Bases suck ass and are only there for uncreative, lazy, ms paint using 12 year old artists who don’t feel like grabbing a paper and pencil and fucking learning how to draw by themselves like a real artist would do. They are a crutch, and a bad one at that, they really don’t teach anything besides how to fail (horribly) at art.
Seeing so many ugly, traced, pixelated abominations is what made me leave DA in the first place, and will probably make me consider leaving again in the near future. Bases do not belong on DA, they are not art, they are something to be spammed on photobucket where no one will have to look at them. Anyone who disagrees with me can go ahead and unfollow me/eat a pile of dicks because holy fuck I hate bases so much and I wish DA would just nuke them off the site forever.
